Web Authority
Professional web presence, media coverage, directory listings, and educational content publishing all contribute to overall authority and discoverability.
What Goes Into a Supplement Score
Supplements are scored on an entirely different algorithm than practitioners or facilities. Lab data and regulatory records matter more than social media presence.
Lab Testing and Purity
Third-party lab results for heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), contaminant testing, label accuracy verification, and ingredient purity. The single most important signal.
Consumer Intelligence
Real consumer experiences aggregated across platforms. We filter incentivized reviews, detect patterns, and weight verified purchases higher than anonymous ratings.
Regulatory Record
FDA warning letters, product recalls, adverse event reports, and enforcement actions. NSF and GMP certifications. A clean regulatory record is table stakes.
Brand Transparency
Does the brand publish COAs? Disclose sourcing? Use GMP-certified facilities? Transparency about manufacturing, testing, and ingredients is the baseline for trust.
Score Grades
Exceptional reputation across platforms. Top-tier trust and discoverability.
Well-established presence with strong reviews and active community engagement.
Solid foundation with room to grow. Good reviews, some social presence.
Basic online presence. Few reviews or limited platform diversity.
Little to no digital footprint. Not necessarily bad, just undiscoverable.
A low score does not mean a practitioner is bad. Many excellent practitioners simply do not have a large online presence. The Trust Score measures discoverability and verified reputation.
