Comprehensive Toxicology Panel
What This Test Measures
Full toxic burden: heavy metals, pesticides, mold, metabolic toxins
Conventional vs. Functional Optimal Range
The gap between these ranges is why you feel terrible with "normal" labs. Conventional medicine waits for disease. Functional medicine optimizes for health.
Gabriel's Take
A toxicology panel can cover heavy metals (Hg, Pb, As, Cd, Al), glyphosate, mycotoxins and an Organic Acids Test. Environmental toxins can contribute to chronic illness: fatigue, brain fog, neurological issues, autoimmunity, cancer. Test, identify sources and remove exposure first, then support the body's own clearance with nutrition, fiber, hydration and sweating. Chelation is a prescription treatment with serious risks and happens only under a licensed clinician; binders such as activated charcoal have weak evidence and can block medicines. Functional medicine prioritizes lowering toxic load for longevity.
When This Test Is High
Toxicity: various symptoms per toxin (see individual entries)
When This Test Is Low
Low toxic burden = better health and longevity
Related Conditions
Heavy metal toxicity, mold illness, environmental illness, chronic fatigue
Recommended Follow-Up
Identify sources and remove exposure; chelation only under a licensed clinician after a validated test; binders have weak evidence
