01

The basics

Is Gabriel health insurance?

No. Gabriel is a membership that works alongside your health insurance. Every membership includes Gabriel Intelligence and a care team by text. Emerald, Sapphire, and Onyx add a monthly wellness budget for care insurance usually skips, and Gabriel Core and Plus add member pricing. Keep your own health insurance for emergencies, hospital stays, and major medical events.

How much does it cost?

Five memberships:
  • Gabriel Core, $49 per adult: prices close to cost on labs, supplements, gear, and care, with unlimited virtual urgent and primary care and no reimbursements. Children under 18 are included.
  • Gabriel Plus, $89 per adult: everything in Core, plus your labs, a root-cause visit, a clinician-reviewed health plan and two in-person urgent care visits a year. Children under 18 are included.
  • Emerald, $249: up to $600 a month in wellness benefits.
  • Sapphire, $399: up to $900 a month.
  • Onyx, $799: up to $1,700 a month.
Core and Plus can also be paid yearly, 12 months for the price of 11: $539 and $979 a year per adult. Emerald, Sapphire, and Onyx are billed monthly. The “up to” amounts include a wearable bonus you can earn from your third month. Compare memberships

What is Gabriel Core?

It gives you member prices close to cost on labs, supplements, prescriptions, gear, and care, unlimited virtual urgent and primary care, and a human care team by text. Kids under 18 are included, and you can cancel anytime. Core has no wellness budget. In-person urgent care visits, the yearly root-cause visit and lab kit, and the clinician-reviewed health plan come with Gabriel Plus. Compare Core and Plus

How much do members save?

Member prices are set close to what we pay. On items with a member price today, members save about half on lab tests and peptides and about 40% on supplements, and many lab tests are more than half off. Savings vary by item. Virtual urgent and primary care are included, and on Plus your first root-cause visit (up to $200) and two in-person urgent care visits (up to $150 each) are on us.

Can I try Gabriel for free?

Yes. You can try Gabriel for free: type your question, then sign in with Google, Apple, X or email. Gabriel can also order, book and start prescription requests while you pay regular prices, and those open by invite.Yes. You can try Gabriel for free: it does the work, and you pay regular prices for what you buy. Just sign in with Google, Apple, X or email. Ask Gabriel or see what Gabriel does for free.

How are Gabriel Core and Plus different from a budget membership?

Both include the Gabriel app, Gabriel Intelligence, a care team by text, unlimited virtual primary care, and unlimited virtual urgent care. The difference is who pays for your care. Gabriel Core ($49 per adult a month) and Gabriel Plus ($89) lower the price: member pricing, close to cost, on labs, supplements, gear, and care. You pay as you go, with no wellness budget, and you can cancel anytime. Plus adds your first root-cause visit each year with any practitioner you choose on Gabriel, up to $200, with a follow-up half off, up to $100, and two in-person urgent care visits a year, up to $150 each. On monthly billing, the root-cause visit opens in your third month and the in-person visits in your second; on yearly billing, right away. Emerald, Sapphire, and Onyx, from $249 a month, pay for it: a monthly wellness budget worth more than your fee, from $500 to $1,500 plus a wearable bonus, at standard prices, with a three-month minimum. They also include unlimited in-person urgent care and two root-cause visits a year, up to $200 each, that don’t come out of your wellness budget. Core and Plus are best if you want lower prices on the care you already buy. A budget membership is best if you use care most months. See them side by side

Why are member prices so low?

Your membership is how Gabriel gets paid, so we keep product margins small instead of charging retail markups. You get member pricing close to cost on labs, supplements, gear, and care.

Is there a commitment?

Emerald, Sapphire, and Onyx start with a three-month minimum, billed monthly, and your full wellness budget is available from month one. After three months, it’s month to month. Prefer to pay the three months upfront? You get a one-time $200 care credit in month one. Gabriel Core and Plus are billed monthly or yearly, and you can cancel anytime.

Can I pay for Core or Plus yearly?

Yes. Gabriel Core is $539 a year and Gabriel Plus is $979 a year per adult, 12 months for the price of 11, and kids under 18 are still included. On yearly billing, everything in your plan starts right away. On monthly billing, Plus’s in-person urgent care visits start in your second month, and its lab kit, root-cause visit and first health plan in your third. Yearly billing renews automatically each year, and Gabriel emails you a reminder 15 to 45 days before each renewal. If you cancel within 30 days after a yearly charge, you get a refund: in full on Core, and on Plus less what Gabriel paid for any root-cause or in-person urgent care visits you used in that time and $120 if your lab kit has shipped. If you cancel after those 30 days, your membership runs to the end of the year you paid for and isn’t renewed, with no partial refund. To switch between monthly and yearly billing, text or email Gabriel. The change takes effect on your next billing date. View the Core and Plus terms

How do reimbursements work?

Send a receipt through the app or by text. Gabriel checks eligibility and documentation, and approved payouts typically arrive within 48 to 72 hours. Larger single expenses may need pre-approval first.

Does my budget roll over?

Yes. Part of what you don’t use is saved as Saved Care, on top of your full budget next month: 20% on Emerald, 25% on Sapphire, 30% on Onyx. It keeps building for as long as you’re a member, with no limit, so a quiet year on Sapphire means starting month 13 with $3,000 to use: your $750 budget plus $2,250 saved. Bonus credits don’t count toward it.

How does the wearable bonus work?

Connect an eligible wearable. Starting in your third month, you can earn up to $100 (Emerald), $150 (Sapphire), or $200 (Onyx) more per month: part for staying connected, and part for hitting daily sleep or step goals.

Can I keep my doctors?

Yes. Eligible licensed practitioners you already see can qualify. Reimbursement follows the rates and rules in your Benefits Schedule, and Gabriel can suggest partners if you want someone new.

Are my benefits guaranteed?

No. Your budget is a monthly limit Gabriel reviews requests against, not cash in an account. Each request is reviewed for eligibility and documentation under your Benefits Schedule, and some may be approved for less than requested. Check eligibility and any pre-approval requirements before purchasing care.

03

Family and money

Can I add my family?

Yes, on any membership, and each person gets their own login. On Gabriel Core and Plus, it’s $49 or $89 per adult, and children under 18 are included. On Emerald, Sapphire, and Onyx, your household shares one monthly budget, and each added person costs $187, $299, or $599 a month. From the third child under 21, children are free.

Can my partner use my Core or Plus membership?

For shopping, yes. One Core or Plus membership can order at member prices for your whole household, and you can send gifts to family and friends. The app, Gabriel Intelligence, the care team, virtual care, and the Plus extras are personal, so each adult who wants them needs their own membership and login. Kids under 18 are included on a parent’s membership. Member prices are for you, your family, and gifts, not for resale.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

HSA/FSA eligibility applies to qualifying clinical care, not the full membership fee. The clinical portion is already included: Primary Care Powered by Everdawn, for everyday virtual primary and urgent care, is $39 a month on Gabriel Core and $69 a month on Gabriel Plus; Emerald $99 a month, Sapphire $159 a month, Onyx $299 a month. If you pay the clinical part with pre-tax FSA money, Emerald works out to about $219 a month at a 30% tax rate, Sapphire about $351, Onyx about $709, Gabriel Plus about $68 and Gabriel Core about $37. Have an HSA? Check with your plan or a tax advisor before paying the clinical part from it. Added family members’ fees are wellness, not clinical. Gabriel can provide an itemized statement. The wellness and concierge portion, and the Gabriel membership part of Core and Plus ($10 and $20 a month), are not represented as qualified medical expenses. Your plan’s rules decide what qualifies. This isn’t tax advice. View membership terms

Can my business pay for it?

Yes. Employers can offer Gabriel through Gabriel Teams. Business owners can also use an ICHRA to pay back the clinical care part tax-free.

04

If something happens

What if I have an emergency?

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Gabriel isn’t for emergencies, and your health insurance is what covers emergency care. After 90 continuous days, Gabriel may consider discretionary assistance for sudden emergency or catastrophic events. It is never guaranteed, requires documentation and insurance-first review, and may cover all, part, or none of a request under Section 9 of the agreement.

What if a reimbursement isn’t approved?

Gabriel tells you why. Often it’s missing documentation, and you can resubmit with what’s needed or ask the care team to take another look.

How do I cancel?

In the app or by contacting support. After any minimum term, cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period, with no partial-month refunds. Until then, you can use your budget and Saved Care and send in requests; after that, your budget and Saved Care end, with no cash-out, and new requests can’t be submitted. Review membership terms
