Local clinic or telehealth?
A local clinic helps when an exam, injections in the office or in-person follow-up are important. Telehealth widens your options when nobody nearby fits, as long as the clinician is licensed where you live.
Either way, the product should come from a state-licensed pharmacy on a prescription, not from a website selling "research use only" vials.
Verify the care, not just the distance
- The clinician's name, license and who handles follow-up.
- The exact product, form and which pharmacy dispenses it.
- The evidence for that product in people, in plain words.
- Planned lab work and monitoring.
- The full price, including visits, labs, supplies and shipping.
Before you book
Walk away from any clinic, local or online, that prescribes without a real visit, sells vials labeled "research use only", or calls a compounded product generic or FDA-approved. The full checklist is in how to choose a peptide therapy clinic.
FDA has published safety concerns about several peptides offered through compounding, including BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin, and none of them is an FDA-approved drug. See what FDA says about peptide safety for the details and their current review status.
How Gabriel helps
Gabriel finds and books root-cause practitioners near you, including functional medicine doctors and naturopaths, and helps with the superbill afterward. Gabriel does not recommend using peptides without a licensed clinician's supervision, and Gabriel never gives peptide dosing. Clinicians reviewing requests through Gabriel don't prescribe research peptides such as BPC-157, TB-500 or epitalon. Some peptide medicines, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, can be prescribed through Gabriel by licensed clinicians at our telehealth partners. If you ask about one, a licensed clinician reviews your request and decides whether it's appropriate.
Compounded medications aren't FDA-approved. A licensed clinician decides what's right for you.
