What it is

The BioCharger NG is a device that gives off four kinds of energy at once: light, pulsed voltage, specific frequencies and harmonics. It draws on the ideas of early energy researchers such as Nikola Tesla and Georges Lakhovsky. You sit a few feet away while it runs a preset program, called a recipe, chosen for a goal such as energy, sleep or recovery.

Sessions are short, non-invasive and need no physical contact. Many people find them relaxing and say they feel more energized afterward. Research on the device itself is still limited.

What happens at a visit

1. Choose a recipe for your goal, such as energy, sleep or recovery.
2. Sit comfortably 3 to 5 feet from the device, with no contact.
3. Sessions last 10 to 15 minutes; some people feel light tingling or warmth.
4. Many people say they feel calmer or more alert afterward.
5. Repeat daily or a few times a week, often alongside other care.

Evidence and safety

The BioCharger draws on fields with real research, such as pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy and light therapy, but the device itself has little published clinical research, so its effects rest mostly on user experience. It is generally considered low risk. People with a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, and people who are pregnant, should check with a clinician first. It works alongside medical care, not in place of it.
