Oura membership cost

  • $5.99 a month or $69.99 a year in the US, before tax. Prices differ in other countries.
  • First month free for new members, starting when you pair the ring. It can't be paused or restarted.
  • What it unlocks: detailed sleep analysis, 24/7 heart rate, blood oxygen, daytime stress, heart health, metabolic and women's health features, reports and Oura Advisor.
  • Without membership, Oura says you see only your three daily scores (Sleep, Readiness and Activity), plus battery and settings. You can still download your data.

Paying yearly saves about $2 a year compared with paying monthly ($69.99 versus 12 times $5.99, or $71.88).

Ways to lower the cost

  • Pick the base finish. Silver and Black Ring 5 cost $100 less than the premium finishes.
  • Consider Ring 4. It is still sold and costs less, with the same membership.
  • Pay yearly for membership.
  • HSA or FSA funds. Oura says most store items and its membership can be paid with an HSA or FSA card. Under IRS rules a tracker counts as a medical expense only when it is used primarily for a specific medical condition.
